NT-Doctors Visit

We went to our doctors appointment today to get the NT done. Its a ultrasound that measures the back of the baby's neck. They also do blood work now and in a couple weeks and check for down syndrome. When I was in the hospital the doctor had knocked my due date back a week so I thought I was only 13 weeks. During the measurements today she says I am 14 weeks and 4 days.(Which would go with the original due date...SWEET....for me anyways. That means I am hopefully a week closer to having this morning sickness stuff out the door!

Aubrey went with us again today to see the ultrasound and just loves it all! She keeps saying its the coolest thing she's ever seen. Especially today when you could see the baby sucking its thumb. She got the biggest kick out of that.

We will go back in 4 weeks to find out the sex!! We are excited and cant wait!

Craziness

Well I ended up not going to my appt last week. Adams grandma hasn't been doing very well and it was time we went and saw her up in Tyler so I had to reschedule. My appt is now scheduled for Thursday.
I spent the weekend at my moms and felt really good most of the time. I have been slowly bringing normal foods back in the picture. The only bad thing is my evening after work I have been becoming very nauseous....which is a downer. I am 13 weeks tomorrow..Yeah. This stuff stopped at 16 weeks with Aubrey so I have my fingers crossed that it will start to go away in the next couple of weeks. Wish me luck!! LOL! Well I will keep everyone updated with any changes.

Starting to slowly have better days!

This weekend was pretty good for me. Saturdays are always a little hard but Sunday was good! Went to my moms and watched the kids play outside. Even got to play in the sprinkler for a while. The highlight of my day was going clothes shopping with my ole friend Kim. She is due a month ahead of me,which is exciting. Shes looking so cute already. I did break down and by two maternity shirts but for a good reason. Ive been wearing maternity pants already just since there so comfortable and easy on my upset stomach. I needed shirts that were longer and would cover up that ugly elastic stuff on the pants. I found some really cute shirts that look normal but will be good to use later. I actually have had the energy to start cleaning up the house. It wasn't horrible but has been neglected a little do to Adam working so much and me not feeling well. That's all for now. We have an appointment on Thursday to get another Ultrasound and just have a normal visit with the Doctor.

The first Three Months

I thought it would be neat to start blogging all the events going on during this pregnancy. I also thought this would be a good place for family and friends out of state to keep up with all the ultrasound pics and events. I am do January 28, 2010.

Well We found out on May 18Th that I was pregnant. After taking the test twice, LOL, I went and bought two baby bibs and stuck them in a decorated bag(with the test in there also). I had Aubrey go get the bag and give it to Adam. I wish I could have taken a picture of Adam's face. He was excited but shocked. He immediately was so excited to tell Aubrey the news. She still doesn't know what to think. She said if its a girl she's excited but if its a boy Mam'ma could have it. She says boys are disgusting. He also decided he wanted to tell the world, so he went and posted it on facebook almost immediately after me saying dont tell anyone till we tell our family's. I freaked. I immediately had to start making phone calls before family found out through the grape vine.

I believe everyone is aware of how sick I was with Aubrey. Well it started up again with this one. About 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant the nausea and getting sick begun. I ended up in the Hospital for 6 days in the middle of June due to Dehydration. It was miserable. Previously before the hospital visit I was on oral Zofran. It was not working at all. I went into the hospital for two days then they released me. That next day I ended up back in the hospital for the next four days. My doctor had finally decided to put me on the zofran pump. Its a pump connected to me 24/7. I am getting the meds all the time all day. Its not the most comfortable thing but I am finally starting to live my life just a little more every day. Still very fatigued but I guess that's part of it.

We got to see one of the good ultrasounds finally last week. You could see the heartbeat and the little legs starting to grow out. The doctor said when we come back next week for my 12 week visit, all the limbs should be grown out. I'm excited to see the ultrasound. I will be posting all the ultrasounds here in the next couple days. Well that's all for now. Hopefully The nausea will go away soon and we can all start enjoying this pregnancy.
